Refund Policy

What is SmartMumbaikar's  Easy Refund policy?

We love to get it right for you, every single time you trust us with your purchase. We want you to have an absolutely headache-free shopping experience.

If you do not use the service, you can ask for refund within 7 days of making payment. We will refund you amount you have paid.

If you make multiple payments by mistake, You can ask for refund by giving sufficient details about your order and transactions. We will refund you what you have paid.

If you have used the service few times, we have served you successfully and then you stopped using the service,  you are not eligible for refund.

Reason 1: We have connected to few people few times, you have done offline setting/arrangement with them to do ridesharing without using our service. So you are getting benefit of our system/data even you are not using.

Reason 2: We allocate telephone lines, servers and other infrastructure capacity based on assumption you are going to use the service. If you do not use the service, that infrastructure get unused but still we have to pay the bills for that infrastructure.

If you use the service and we are not able to provide service even once, you can ask for full refund.

If you are using service regularly and sometime we are not able to serve you, you are eligible for partial refund.  In this case You can request us partial refund. We provide partial refund only for the times you are using our service and we are not able to serve you.

Example :
You are paying us Rs. 400 for 1 month service. And month is having 22 working days. (44 trips/month)
You are using service for 30 times, we are able to serve you successfully 25 times, 5 times we are not able to find you any match.

Rest all trips (44 (total trips per month)-30 (requested service) =14 you are not requesting our service.  You will not available refund of 14 (unused) service. You can ask us for refund of 5 trips (for which you requested/used our service but we are not able to serve you successfully)


Our service works only during working days (Monday to Friday) except Holidays, Strike and during rush hours (8.00 AM to 10.30 am and 5.30 pm to 9.30 pm local time).

If you use our service apart from above mentioned time/day and we are not able to serve you successfully, you are not eligible to ask for full/partial refund.


Refund Steps and Guidelines

We want to serve you in best possible way, to make entire refund experience hasslefree  and transparent here is the guideline for you.

  1. From your registered e-mail, you need e-mail us at with your order details, mobile number and transaction details.
  2. We will verify about your refund and reason in maximum 3 working days (we will try our best to reduce this time) and if you are eligible for refund as per above guideline we will confirm you (or reject your request) in e-mail.
  3. Once we confirm, we will initiate your refund from our end in next 2 working days.(we will try our best to reduce this time)


We usually confirm and initiate the refund within 5 working days of cancellation provided that you have given us your order details, mobile number and transaction details from your registered e-mail address.

However, it may take slightly longer to reflect in your account statement depending upon your bank (if you have paid by netbanking or card) or your mobile operator (if you have paid via mobile payment options). We’ve noticed that it takes about 14 working days for most refunds to hit their respective accounts.
